Job Description

Spectrum Software & Consulting Ltd. (SSCL) is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer with at least one year of hands-on experience to join our growing engineering team. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes to ensure reliable and scalable systems.

The ideal candidate has practical experience working with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and Linux-based systems, and is eager to collaborate closely with software developers and QA teams to streamline development and release workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure and server environments
• Work with development teams to improve deployment frequency and system reliability
• Maintain and optimize containerized applications using Docker
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues in staging and production environments
• Document DevOps processes, configurations, and best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a DevOps or similar role
• Strong experience with Linux-based systems
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI
• Experience with Docker and container-based deployments
• Good understanding of networking, security basics, and server management
• Experience with Git and version control workflows
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration tools
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
